As a high-end interior design studio, comfort, functionality and sophistication are at the core of everything we do. We cater to the needs of our prestigious clients as well as upmarket real estate developers from across the globe, by creating splendid interiors for exclusive residential homes, VIP and VVIP palaces, governmental projects and more.
Our Story
Passionate about architecture since childhood, Carolina graduated with a Master’s in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2006 and then move to Italy to specialize in interior design.
Her passion for the classical world and Islamic-Andalusian architecture, combine with her technical knowledge, have led her to develop her own sophisticated language of high aesthetic value. This culminated in her appointment as the Design Manager for the private ‘Interior Company’ of the Royal Family of Qatar where he achieved to produce high-value projects in record time and to coordinate large work teams.
In 2017 he established his own company Carolina Darocas Design.
After more than 10 years installed in the Middle East, the understanding of the culture and the accumulated experience provide led her to develop some of the most iconic projects locally, from the Parliament of Qatar, to the private residences of the royal family.
Carolina Darocas Design has steadily grown into a successful and respected world-renowned design atelier.
OUR WORK PROCESS

Initial consultation
We begin by meeting with the client to understand their needs and preferences. We present a range of design styles for inspiration and collaborate with the client to determine their ideal design. We also consider the project timeline and budget during this phase.

Concept design
After gathering all necessary information, we create a concept design that includes layouts, CGI renders, and presentations of all design elements, such as furniture, lighting, art and decor.
We work closely with the client to ensure the visual design meets their satisfaction.
We then prepare physical boards to present the materials that will make up the final design.
Afterward, we assemble physical boards that showcase the materials that will be employed in the final design.

Detailed design
With the design concept finalized, we work with MEP and structural engineers to ensure that all facilities are coordinated perfectly on-site. Next, we create comprehensive technical plans for the contractor to utilize during the construction process.

Site coordination and supervision
During construction, we oversee the project to ensure that everything is executed according to the original design. Our FF&E team works with factories to produce all elements specified in the design, including quality revisions and material selection.

Luxury staging
Once the construction is complete, our OS&E team selects the most suitable decor pieces to give the final touch to the project, including ornaments, sculptures, vases, flowers, candles, throws, blankets, and personalized bed and bath linen. We pay attention to every detail to complete the project to the client’s satisfaction.

Realisation
Once a project is completed, our quality evaluators and assurors analyse all aspects of the work before handing over to the client as a final delivery.

Our carefully assembled team of worldwide contractors, suppliers and artisans are personally chosen by Carolina Darocas herself, to ensure they are adept at executing our designs and that they meet our standards of precision, quality and care.
